Yes, this is a Prelude to the long and illustrious scene that is forthcoming! But, I feel this is so necessary to add: how we started our journey! :)

So, Turbo noticed that my live drawings are very brightly colored. We did some experimenting, and here is how this page should really look: image

Ohhh!!! Going back a ways!!
Omg, listening to music and missing the apocalypse entirely? Yeah, no, I can see that being me, too, honstly...;)

Yup! This is the inception of all circumstances!
Exactly! ahahahaha XD
I always told people that the World could end, and I'll just be in my apartment, being me, dancing.

I can relate, since I tend to lose the sense of reality while I'm listening the music I like...

You know? There really is no drug more powerful than the euphoric sensation brought-on by musical goodness! :)

Sometimes the best songs are able to take my mind away from this reality...

Well, he needed wheels worthy of his nomenclature!

And the legacy begins...

Hey, is that the Turbomobile? In reality, I probably would have saved you in fruit wagon that I had stole from a blind person. You're looking mighty fit in those pics! Some microfiber may be needed very soon. And I really like the "here we go" symbolism to our true origins - that only I know about :-) Well done!

A finer bond never existed.....

You bet! Oh my goodness - you are so funny (and I know I constantly say that, but even after 11 insane years, you still manage to make me smile and laugh, regardless of anything I have endured).

I look even better in real life! O_o :p
Did you like how I threw your green cloth on the floor? By the way, I will be quizzing you on all the other inside jokes I have thrown onto here. ;D Thank you, as always.

lovely contrast - the beeeeaaaam in the second last panel versus the 'errr what' in the last one xD

and cool car, fits his name ;)

(yes, colors often change in the digital version. I must admit I like the less saturated ones on the official page better, but that may be just me. at the other hand, the experimental page with increased saturation has the better lineart, it's solid black, not gray :)) )

Our personalities often bounce-off of each other in quite hysterical manners, which I try and emulate through these drawings. :)

Yes, indeed! I wanted a spaceship on wheels. XD

Right, and for all the black ink I have my hands slave-over ever week, that would be a shame to lose such boldness in the digital transference.

Heyyy look at all those degrees that will be totally useful in an apocalypse! ...Maybe.

Such an INFJ to notice all those tiny details. I will not say they are insignificant because, even though she has slight amnesia right now, there will be valuable things to consider based on her vast education and pure genius. :D

Those headphones must have been turned up to MAXIMUM for Buckeye to miss out on all the carnage.

Sweet ride brah. Now we know why he's called Turbo ;)
Looks like those wheels can go fast and or furious.

Ooh, those colours do pop. Nice.

What's the point of listening if you cannot mega max out totally tubular tunes?!?!

Yes, exactly! A car befitting of his badassery. Funny because he thoroughly enjoys those films.

I guess I will have to play around with contrast?

You know, that is an insanely-appropriate quote for the situation we were in, and possibly still are.

So much blood, so much gore!
Ohhhh Nat doesn't even know yet that the apocalypse started! What a horrible way to be ripped out of musical trance (literally)^^:O
And that detailed background tells a lot about Nat's life...so much education!
What a waste, that she can't use that post-apocalyptic XD
But this page looks awesome with those colours, sadly scanning always seems to "dull" the color in traditional art!

Yes! What kind of End would that be if there was no violence? ;)
No one should ever rip me from Trance (or else, they pay dearly)! XD
From page one, I wanted everyone to be cognizant of her and my brilliance. You bet those things will come in handy. Recall the museum visit? Exactamente. ;)
Hopefully tonight's page also exudes fun colors!
